Job summary

The Corvallis Clinic, part of the Optum family, in Oregon's mid-Willamette Valley, is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate the MRI scanner and capture diagnostic images for physicians.

The role requires ARMRIT or ARRT-MRI eligibility, an Oregon MRI license, BLS certification (or within 90 days), and 2+ years in radiology. Schedule 7:30 am–6:00 pm Tue–Fri; competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT-MRI eligible.
• Current Magnetic Resonance Imaging license issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to complete BLS within 90 days of hire.
• 2+ years in Radiology Department as a dedicated MRI Technologist.
• Thorough knowledge of human anatomy, positioning, and MRI exam protocols.
• Ability to work 7:30 am - 6:00 pm Tue-Fri.

Responsibilities

• Select imaging techniques via operator's console and peripheral hardware.
• Maintain a safe working environment for patients and staff.
• Enter and monitor patient data.
• Image exams to accurately demonstrate required anatomy.
• Train additional MRI staff and MRI support staff.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols.
• Assist receptionist in scheduling patient exams as needed.
