Job summary

Shared Medical Services in Kansas is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our mobile imaging team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner while serving local communities.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registration required; ARRT (MR) preferred.
• Pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Maintain professional, ethical conduct and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Competently perform MRI imaging procedures per standards of practice.
• Review patient screening forms and explain procedures to patients.
• Maintain patient comfort, safety and confidentiality; pursue continuing education.

Position Overview

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our growing team. Unlike typical travel roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state‑of‑the‑art mobile scanner while serving local and diverse communities. This role provides flexibility of different environments while being a part of a stable, full‑time, employee‑centric organization. You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities and become a key member of our Shared Medical Services ONETEAM.

Anticipated Schedule

• Friday and Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities

• Competently perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with accepted standards of practice, including administering contrast agents (under the guidance and approval of the site Radiologist)
• Review and complete patient screening forms and properly explain the procedure to the patient
• Maintain excellent patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality, in addition to maintaining your technical competency through continuing education

• Produce quality special imaging with limited supervision, and interact in a responsible, professional and ethical manner
