Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our growing team. This position involves working on a state-of-the-art mobile MRI scanner across local communities, offering a stable, full-time, employee-centric environment.

You will be responsible for acquiring quality imaging, maintaining patient care and safety, and collaborating with site Radiologists. This role provides professional growth within a long-standing, employee-owned organization where YOU MATTER.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registered.
• ARRT (MR) registered preferred.
• Ability to perform quality MRI with limited supervision and professional conduct.
• Pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per accepted standards, including contrast agents under Radiologist guidance.
• Review and complete patient screening forms and explain the procedure.
• Maintain patient care, comfort, safety, confidentiality, and ongoing technical competency.

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our growing team. Anticipated Schedule:

Responsibilities

• You will competently perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with accepted standards of practice, including administering contrast agents (under the guidance and approval of the site Radiologist)
• You will review and complete patient screening forms and properly explain the procedure to the patient
• You must maintain excellent patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality, in addition to maintaining your technical competency through continuing education

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registered
• ARRT (MR) registered preferred
• You will need to produce quality special imaging with limited supervision, and you must be able to interact in a responsible, professional and ethical manner
• Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical
