MedCadre is seeking an MRI Technologist for a flexible schedule that includes part-time or full-time options in Liberty, MO. The role requires MR imaging expertise, patient positioning, venipuncture, and safety compliance with ACR/MR guidelines.

Shifts include 10-hour mids, 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday, with weekend and on-call duties as described. The position offers full-time benefits and a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualificações

• Radiologic Technology degree required.
• MR Imaging qualification or ARRT MR certification.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and MR techniques.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor during examinations.
• Perform venipuncture, manage IV access and administer medications as prescribed.
• Select pulse sequences per established protocols and data acquisition factors.
• Evaluate MR images for quality and patient identification.
• Adhere to MR safety guidelines and screen for implants or devices.
• Identify and respond to emergencies; perform quality assurance activities.
• Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers.
• Perform all professional competencies required by the unit; assume additional duties as assigned.

Formação académica

Job Description/General Duties

• Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, pathology, pharmacology, medical terminology, MR techniques, and MR patient positioning.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate care during examinations/procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, manage IV access, and administer prescribed medications.
• Select appropriate pulse sequences based on established protocols and factors affecting data acquisition parameters.
• Evaluate medical images for quality and accurate patient identification.
• Follow ACR MR safety guidelines, such as access restrictions, patient/personnel screening, and monitoring/control of MR areas.
• Apply MR safety principles, including researching implanted devices, to minimize risk to patients, self, and others.
• Identify and respond to emergency situations.
• Perform assigned quality assurance and educational activities.
• Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers.
• Perform all professional, clinical, and/or technical competencies required by the assigned unit or department.
