Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach is seeking an MRI Technologist to deliver high-quality MRI imaging under physician supervision. You will assess patient safety, administer contrast per protocol, and review imaging for accuracy prior to interpretation.

The role requires ARRT licensure, at least 1 year of x-ray experience for cross-training, and strong patient communication. Competitive compensation with benefits and shift incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification/licensure required.
• 1 year x-ray experience preferred for cross-training.
• Experience performing MRI exams and safety screening.
• Ability to explain exams and procedures to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality MRI imaging under supervision.
• Administer MRI contrast per protocol.
• Review patient MRI safety screening form prior to scanning.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Coordinate with physicians and support staff.
