Job description

Performs MRI procedures on inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients using a high field magnetic scanner and other associated equipment.

We are hiring for the MRI Technologist position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Position details:

• Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, hours per week as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an AMA-approved training program in a qualified diagnostic imaging modality.
• National Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging within 1 year of hire, or
• National Certified MRI Technologist through the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 1 year of hire, or
• National Registered Technologist in Radiography through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 1 year of hire, or
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging.
• At least 1 year of MRI experience.
