Medical City Dallas is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to perform high-quality MRI scans on patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist. The role requires strict adherence to safety guidelines and departmental standards in a busy clinical setting.

Applicants must hold an AMA-approved radiology technology education, ARRT MRI certification, and a Texas MRT license, with MRI certification through ARRT required by year-end 2012.

Qualifications

• BCLS to be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology.
• ARRT certification obtained.
• MRT State of Texas license held.
• MRI Certification through ARRT required by December 31, 2012.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI scans on patients of all ages under Radiologist supervision.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic diagnostic environment following practice standards and magnet safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental improvement activities.
