Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to perform high-quality MRI scans under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will maintain a safe imaging environment in line with practice standards and magnet safety guidelines.

Qualified candidates have BLS, AMA-approved radiology tech education, ARRT certification, MRT Texas license, and MRI certification through ARRT. You will contribute to departmental improvement and patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology.
• ARRT certification.
• MRT license from the State of Texas.
• MRI certification through ARRT required by December 31, 2012.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI scans on all ages under the direction of a Radiologist.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic environment based on practice standards and magnet safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental improvement activities.
