Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida is seeking a staff MRI/CT technologist for a PRN shift. You will perform CT and MRI imaging, assist radiologists, and document examinations with attention to patient safety and privacy.

Requires ARRT or ARMRIT, 2+ CT/MR experience, Florida license and BLS. Expect 30-minute on-call readiness and equipment calibration duties; compensation ranges from $15–$130 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT-registered in Radiography or ARMRIT cert.
• Minimum 2+ years CT/MR experience.
• Current state Radiography license.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and MRI imaging procedures.
• Assists Radiologists in biopsies.
• Maintains records of examinations.
• Obtains and documents patient clinical history.
• Positions patients and equipment to produce accurate images.
• Administers contrast material for CT and MRI procedures.
• Monitors patient condition and ensures patient safety and privacy.
• Performs basic patient care within the scope of practice.
• Participates in standby call and is available within 30 minutes of notification.
• Performs equipment quality control and calibrations.
• Coordinates equipment service and preventative maintenance.
• Trains new employees and assesses technologist competence.
• Assists in routine department clerical needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
