Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Plano is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures under a Radiologist's supervision. You will follow protocols, communicate with patients using AIDET, and ensure accurate exams.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - ARMRIT or ARRT MR preferred; ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR) acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and ensures correct exam.
• Prepares the patient and area, positions the patient, and adjusts equipment.
• Maintains safety, infection-control and radiation policies.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and reports issues to management.
