Job summary

White Rock Medical Center in the Dallas area is seeking a compassionate MRI Technician (PRN) to perform advanced imaging procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.

You will work with radiologists, utilize RIS and PACS, verify orders, position patients, monitor contrast injections, and maintain equipment. This role supports our community hospital with flexible, on-site imaging coverage.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MRI procedures and protocols.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to ensure safety and patient comfort during imaging.

Responsibilities

• Verify requisition, orders, patient history, and exam accuracy.
• Operate RIS/PACS, start and complete exams, and document charges.
• Transport and position patients, ensure safety and privacy.
• Observe contrast injections and monitor for reactions.
• Maintain equipment and clean after each patient.
• Lock MRI door when not in use.
