Job summary

Wellstar is hiring an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team in Georgia. Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs and willing to work PRN shifts. You will perform MRI exams, position patients, and ensure high-quality images while upholding safety and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams and adjust technique to optimize image quality.
• Verify patient identity, safety, and consent prior to procedures.
• Position patients and provide comfort; monitor during exams.
• Maintain equipment and ensure PACS imaging is transmitted properly.
• Follow Joint Commission standards and hospital policies.
