Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center Doctors Regional, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to perform MRI procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision. The role includes patient positioning, protocol selection, equipment operation, safety, sterile technique, and cross-training across imaging areas.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate Degree or equivalent, CPR/BLS within 30 days, and MRI certification (ARRT-MR or ARMRIT).

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-MR MRI or ARMRIT MRI certification required.

Responsibilities

• Position and transfer patients.
• Provide immobilization devices as required.
• Select proper technical protocols for each patient.
• Operate MRI equipment as directed.
• Maintain sterile techniques when necessary.
• Cross train in department areas and assist with training other technologists.
• Keep accurate records and maintain department orderliness.
• Rotates within the department by shift as required.
