Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist and provide comprehensive patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, preparing patients, and operating MRI equipment to aid in the diagnosis of disease. AMA/JRCERT accreditation and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• None experience; 6 months as MRI technologist preferred.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct guidance of a supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups (neonatal to geriatrics).
• Maintain standards and safety protocols for MRI procedures.
