Qualifications

• Certificate required; CPR/BLS may be required and must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to obtain quality MRI images of patients.
• Complies with MRI safety guidelines for patients, staff and self.
• Operates MRI equipment safely including screening patients for contraindications.
• Render patient care professionally and identify patients using proper protocols.
• Prepare MRI scanner and perform quality control tests.
• Assist radiology staff in administering medications and contrast agents during MRI procedures.
• Review exams for technical accuracy and anatomical orientation on images.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and confidentiality.
