MRI Technologist PRN ** $2,500 Sign-on Bonus **

Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics invites applications for a PRN MRI Technologist position at our Harding Place - Nashville, TN clinic.

Position Goal:

Performs advanced imaging procedures using radio frequency waves and magnetic fields.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Operates MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images according to physician protocols.
  • Ensures patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
  • Prepares images, patient history, and paperwork for radiologist review, utilizing fax and Teleradiology systems.
  • Injects contrast material as needed.
  • Maintains MRI room supplies and equipment.
  • Completes necessary documentation and uses computer applications effectively.
  • Ensures image quality standards are met.
  • Utilizes PACS and assists team members as required.
  • Enters MRI reports into patient records.
Experience:

Preferred: Two years MRI experience.

Education:

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, plus radiologic technology coursework approved by ARRT.

Special Qualifications:
  • Required: BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy.
  • Basic computer and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred: Registered MRI technologist.
