Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school or college with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Technologist performs routine and specialized MRI procedures of organs, systems, and blood flow. The MRI Tech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist for comprehensive diagnostic reporting.

What you will do in this role:

• Assist and position patients compassionately.
• Start IVs for contrast injections when necessary.
• Assess image quality and adjust as needed.
• Provide patients with post-procedure instructions.
• Prepare and clean the room using aseptic techniques between patients.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications needed:

• Graduate of an accredited school or college with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT MR registration preferred upon hire or must become eligible within 1 year and complete registration within 6 months.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• 2-3 years MRI experience preferred.
• On-call availability, able to report within one hour of call back.
