Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a PRNMRI Technologist at our Harding Place - Nashville, TN clinic.

Position Goal:

Perform exceptional imaging procedures using radio frequency waves and magnetic fields at a high technical level.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Operate MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes, following physician protocols.
2. Ensure patient comfort and safety, keeping patients mentally and physically at ease.
3. Organize and prepare images, patient history, and paperwork for radiologists’ interpretation via fax and Teleradiology.
4. Inject contrast material into patients.
5. Stock MRI rooms with necessary materials.
6. Complete required paperwork and utilize computer applications.
7. Ensure images meet quality standards.
8. Manage PACS and assist staff as needed.
9. Enter MRI reports into patient charts.

Experience:

Preferred:

Two years of MRI experience.

Education:

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Completion of radiologic technology coursework approved by the ARRT.

Special Qualifications:

Required:

• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy.
• Basic computer and administrative skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• Registered MRI technologist.
