Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification and BLS are required.
• Experience performing MRI procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety throughout imaging, including screening and post-procedure care.
• Produce diagnostic-quality MRI images using approved protocols.
• Apply professional judgment to optimize image quality and address challenges.
• Review images prior to exam completion and initiate corrective action when needed.
• Administer contrast following policy and monitor patients for adverse events.
• Operate MRI equipment and keep the imaging room ready for exams.
• Document exam setup, image routing, and charging accuracy in systems.
