Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders
• Prepare and screen patients for MRI procedures, ensuring MRI safety standards
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions or concerns to reduce anxiety
• Position patients to obtain optimal image quality; may require moving/lifting patients
• Operate MRI equipment and related imaging software
• Administer contrast agents as ordered and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Maintain strict adherence to MRI safety policies, including ferromagnetic screening and zone control
• Monitor image quality and make necessary technical adjustments
