Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures per departmental protocols. You will operate MRI scanners, prepare patients, verify orders, and assist radiologists while ensuring radiation safety and high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities include reviewing patient history, maintaining equipment, and supporting other medical staff. A ARRT MRI registry eligibility and CPR certification are required, with ongoing training as needed.

Competenze

• Graduate from an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI ARRT registry eligible (or ARMRIT) and registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification is required.

Mansioni

• Verifies orders and interfaces with Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers and explains the procedure.
• Reviews EMR for medical history and correlates results with exams.
• Performs MRI scanning and assists during invasive procedures as needed.
• Maintains radiation safety and reports equipment malfunctions.
• Operates radiology computer systems and documents contrast administration.
