Job summary

Aura Health in the United States is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with independence and accuracy. Ideal candidates will hold ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification, BLS, with at least one year of clinical MRI experience, strong communication, and a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification and BLS required.
• Minimum of one year of MRI clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service orientation, and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, pulse sequences, and magnet safety.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining complete clinical histories and assessing patient conditions.
• Preparing and positioning patients for imaging studies.
• Operating MRI equipment, adjusting techniques for image quality, and maintaining equipment safety.
• Administering contrast media safely, verifying patient identity, and ensuring privacy.
• Reviewing images for quality and transmitting studies to PACS.
• Documenting procedures and assisting with patient transport and restocking supplies.
• Responding to emergencies and participating in department training and quality control.
