Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality tomographic images for patients across age groups in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be a Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MR program, RT or MR registry with relevant experience, and hold BLS certification.

Preferred candidates include MR ARRT/ARMRIT registration and about one year of MRI training or experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Reson Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.
