Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program.
• Currently licensed in MRI through ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
• Operates MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional photographs for diagnostic purposes.
• Informs patient and ensures understanding of the procedure; positions patient and uses supportive devices.
• Enter technical data into the computer; evaluate images for technical quality.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and complete posted daily responsibilities.
