Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for our Imaging Team in Idaho. This per-diem role will likely be one day a week, performing MR scans and related tasks under Radiologist guidance.

You will prepare patients, administer contrast per protocol, and assist interventional MR procedures while maintaining safety and quality. The position requires MRI tech education, BLS, and active cooperation with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an approved two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• MR registered or registry eligible and actively documenting cases to apply within 18 months.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team and communicate effectively.
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform MR scans and MR procedures in accordance with department protocols.
• Oversee patient preparation, positioning and contrast administration per site protocols.
• Maintain MR equipment, troubleshoot and call for repairs as needed.
• Ensure infection-control policies are followed and patient safety maintained.
• Document patient care and imaging results in records.
