Northwest Specialty Hospital in Idaho is seeking a team-oriented MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Team. This part-time, nights - variable position offers a dynamic environment focused on quality imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an approved two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• MR registered, registry eligible, or is actively documenting cases to apply and sit for registry within 18 months.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated eligibility for employment in the United States.
• Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for growth.
• Demonstrated English language communication; Language Line accessibility for interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform MR scans in accordance with standards and protocols.
• Ensure MR equipment operation and safety, including maintenance and repairs.
• Administer contrast agents under radiologist guidance according to site protocols.
• Assist radiologist with interventional MR procedures.
• Prepare patients by positioning and immobilization, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain infection-control practices and document care in records.
