Job summary

The MRI Technologist at MultiCare Deaconess Hospital supports a collaborative imaging team in Spokane, WA. You will perform a variety of MRI procedures, applying sound judgment to deliver high-quality imaging care for patients and the community.

The role requires ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification within 6 months, Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure, and current BLS. The position offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Registered with ARRT MRI or ARMRIT upon hire or within 6 months.
• Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health, Radiologic Technologist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• The Certification of Magnetic Resonance Imaging licensure does not affect any current technologists. Beginning September 1, 2025, it will apply only to new applicants who have completed a direct pathway program.

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is an excellent opportunity to work in collaboration with our skilled Imaging/Radiology team. In this role, you will perform a variety of technical procedures applying to Magnetic Resonance Imaging. You will work together with your team to ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for MultiCare patients.

Requirements

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) upon hire, or within 6 months of hire into this classification.
• Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health, Radiologic Technologist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).

Founded in 1896, MultiCare Deaconess Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hospital serving the greater Spokane region. Deaconess is home to a Level III Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center, Primary Stroke Center, Maternal Fetal Medicine program and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The pay scale is $42.15 - $65.23 USD.
