Job summary

The MRI Technologist will operate within MR safety protocols, assist anesthesia for sedation when required, and manage image data using EMR/RIS/PACS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 6 months clinical MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a radiologist, perform diagnostic MRI exams.
• Ensure MR safety and proper patient screening prior to imaging.
• Prepare patients, position for imaging, and assist with contrast as needed.
• Utilize EMR/RIS/PACS for orders, image management and documentation.
