Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners' Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County is seeking a Technologist to perform MRI examinations in our Dutchess County imaging suite. You will follow MRI safety protocols and ensure images are correctly forwarded to PACS for physician review.

Ideal candidates have high-field MRI experience, an RT/MRI license and ARRT registration. We offer growth opportunities, a dynamic environment, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High-field MRI experience in a hospital or radiology center.
• Radiologic Technology degree minimum.
• RT and/or MRI license; ARRT registered.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe MRI examinations.
• Ensure patient safety within MRI suite.
• Check daily MRI schedule and prep for next day.
• Send images to PACS for physician review.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information.
• Foster a positive work environment with staff and patients.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Director of Radiology.

Tech will ensure all safety measures are strictly adhered to in accordance to MRI safety standards. Responsible for images being properly sent to PACS for physician review. Maintain confidentiality of all written and electronic information which employee has access to as part of his/ her job and observes patient rights, including email.
