Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional MRI exams within established guidelines. You will work with Medical Imaging leadership to shape policies and serve as a department resource in Bellevue, WA.

The ideal candidate has an accredited radiology degree, ARRT MR certification, and WA RT license, with at least one year of imaging experience. Per diem and variable shifts are available, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or post-primary pathway advanced registry completion.
• Washington State RT license and ARRT (R)(MR) required on hire; license renewal evidence required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred.

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist works with Medical Imaging leadership and department medical director to develop operating policies and procedures. Performs diagnostic and interventional exams and procedures within established guidelines. The MRI technologist serves as a role model and resource within the department.

Per Diem / Variable Shifts

Qualifications:

• AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program required or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program.
• Must facilitate the direct mailing of an official transcript verifying the successful completion of all courses necessary to satisfy the Structured Education requirements established by the ARRT for post primary pathway certification in MRI. This requirement is waived if candidate has already obtained the ARRT(MR) advanced registry.
• Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and ARRT (R)(MR) required upon hire. Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred. Previous hospital experience preferred.
