Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics in Bellevue, WA is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional MRI exams and help develop department policies with leadership. You will serve as a resource and role model within a collaborative imaging team.

The position requires WA RT license and ARRT (R)(MR) certification, with a preference for 1 year of radiology experience. Compensation includes comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must provide transcript verification for ARRT post-primary MRI pathway certification or MR registry.

• Minimum 1 year experience as medical imaging technologist preferred; hospital experience preferred.

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist works with Medical Imaging leadership and department medical director to develop operating policies and procedures. Performs diagnostic and interventional exams and procedures within established guidelines. The MRI technologist serves as a role model and resource within the department.

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program required or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program.
• Must facilitate the direct mailing of an official transcript verifying the successful completion of all courses necessary to satisfy the Structured Education requirements established by the ARRT for post primary pathway certification in MRI. This requirement is waived if candidate has already obtained the ARRT(MR) advanced registry.
• Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and ARRT (R)(MR) required upon hire. Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred. Previous hospital experience preferred.
