Job summary

The ideal candidate is ARRT/ARMRIT certified, with BLS and regulatory knowledge, and prefers those with prior imaging experience. Workdays are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm, with rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent (ARRT pathway).
• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT/ARMRIT in MRI or related rail. BLS certification required.
• MRI Technologist must meet regulatory knowledge for Federal and State rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages.
• Educate patients about MRI procedures and ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions immediately.
• Coordinate with department leadership to meet goals and ensure safe operation.
• Provide copies of imaging studies to appropriate destinations in a timely manner.
• Orient new personnel and assist in transition to the work environment.
