Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center (PHSC) are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team in Exton, PA. The role involves performing MRI imaging procedures, patient preparation, and ensuring safety and accuracy in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

This part-time position requires Radiographer certification and at least two years of MRI experience, with weekend hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Radiographer certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years MRI Technologist experience.
• State-specific licenses as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to protocols and standards of practice.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and care.
• Perform equipment quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate service calls as needed.
• Maintain technical competency through ongoing education.
• Cooperate with facility healthcare personnel and comply with all facility policies and procedures.
• Provide images to facilities in the required format.
• Maintain a clean environment in the imaging suite and surrounding areas.
• Complete all administrative and documentation tasks accurately.
• Follow quality assurance guidelines, patient confidentiality regulations, and all safety policies.
