Job summary

Kaleida Health's MRI department at Buffalo General Medical Center seeks an MRI Technologist for a part-time role. You will perform MRI procedures, prepare and position patients, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or ARRT MR eligible with certification requirements met.
• 1 year MRI experience preferred; CT and X-ray experience also valued.
• AR R T MR certification and related radiologic credentials required or on track.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of MRI procedures to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborates with care team to contribute to patient plan of care and safety.
• Promotes quality and performance improvement initiatives within the MRI team.
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high quality diagnostic images.
