Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology or MRI program required.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required.
• Completion of a formal MRI course at junior college level or higher.

Responsabilités

• Position and immobilize patients to obtain high-quality MRI scans.
• Select imaging protocols based on orders and patient needs.
• Perform post-processing and image enhancement for diagnostic quality.
• Operate MRI equipment and related tech, including power injectors.
• Initiate IV access and administer contrast per policy.
• Screen for MRI safety compliance and verify patient identity.
• Transfer patients safely and ensure proper MRI attire.
