Summary

Schedule

This position is located at our North Providence, RI clinical site.

• Tuesday & Thursday 3:00PM-9:00PM
• Sunday 7:30AM-4:00PM

Job Requirements

• Physical dexterity and strength to operate all types of MR related equipment, properly position patients, and handle patient films and files.
• Conceptual ability to determine means of providing requested studies based on the specifics of each case.
• Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and/or emotional stress, referring physicians and staff, radiologists, fellow employees, supplier and service representatives, and others.
• Organizational skills as required by the position.
• Analytical skills necessary for data interpretation.
• Knowledge and skills to provide proper patient care and perform exams as outlined by governing bodies and RIMI protocol.
• Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese) preferred but not required.

Education/Certifications

• Must be ARRT registered, MR Certification
• IV experience required.

Physical Demands

• Walks and stands intermittently throughout the day.
• May lift/position patients and supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move patients from scanner tables and transport patients in wheelchairs and/or stretchers.
• Ability to crouch, reach, and lift for positioning and equipment manipulation.
• Exposure to high magnetic fields; physical condition should not be aggravated by magnetic fields, noise, or RF exposure.
• Work in Zone 3 and Zone 4.
