Job summary

Jobtailor in New Hampshire is seeking an MRI Technologist to safely perform MRI studies, prepare patients, and optimize imaging parameters. You will acquire images, process data, and perform quality assurance scans while ensuring compliance and safety.

The role requires ARRT or ARMRIT certification and NH MR license, plus 1–2 years of MRI experience. You will collaborate with the MRI team, consult experts as needed, and rotate between scanners, including occasional overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform MRI studies using MRI system.

• Consult content experts and collaborate with MRI department team.
• Rotate across scanners and cover occasional overnight shifts.

Job description

• Safely perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies using a magnetic resonance imaging system
• Prepare patients, position, set imaging parameters, acquire images, and perform computer processing
• Select appropriate imaging protocols for patient studies and perform quality assurance scans
• Consult appropriate content experts as necessary and work cohesively as a team member within the MRI Department
• Rotate to MRI scanners across the assigned department as needed and work occasional overnight shifts as deemed necessary

Requirements

• MRI Registered Technologist with ARRT OR ARMRIT required upon hire
• 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist required
• Medical Imaging Certificate/Diploma required or Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging preferred
• NH Medical Imaging License (MR)(R) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
