Position Summary

The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI procedures, manages patient imaging care, RIS data, and handles related administrative duties such as file room management, clerical tasks, physician assistance, and patient transportation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Associate of Science degree or an Associate's degree in Radiology or Technical Radiology.
  • Credentials: BLS and ARRT (Radiology Technologist) certification in relevant specialty or ARMRIT (MRI) certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of MRI-specific training with an Associate in Science degree; or 1 year of Radiology or MRI experience with an Associate in Radiology or Technical Radiology.
Additional Information

Position is located at BayCare Health System, BIC MRI-MPM SRVCS, in Largo at the Morton Plant outpatient and surgery center. This is a full-time, day shift position (10:30 AM - 7:00 PM), with no weekend work or on-call responsibilities. Remote work is not applicable.
