Job summary

Radiology Partners’ Austin Radiological Association (ARA Diagnostic Imaging) is seeking an MRI technologist to support our outpatient imaging network in the Greater Austin area.

You will maintain MRI protocols, perform QC checks, and administer IV contrast when needed. The role requires ARRT/ARMRIT certification, current BLS, and excellent patient-care skills to ensure accurate imaging and smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA Council of Education program in radiological technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
• Requires current BLS.
• Must demonstrate ability to perform intravenous injections with proficiency.
• Must possess excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain MRI protocols as directed by the MRI Coordinator/Lead(s).
• Perform daily check-ups and quality control on MRI scanners as required by regulatory bodies.
• Perform intravenous injections with contrast following proper guidelines.
• Identify patients and review exam paperwork, obtaining medical history.
• Confirm images are transmitted to PACS and accompanying notes are correctly filed.
