Job summary

Sport Ortho Urgent Care is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist for our Mt. Juliet, TN location. You will perform MRI scans, ensure patient safety, and document procedures in the EMR, working closely with clinicians in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT MRI certification, a radiology program degree, and a current BLS certification. Preferred is Tennessee X-Ray Operator licensure. This role offers competitive compensation and part-time scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT (MRI) Certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal imaging and MRI safety protocols.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, walk-in orthopedic setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician protocols and industry standards.
• Ensure patient safety by properly screening for contraindications and providing clear instructions.
• Position patients accurately and operate MRI equipment for optimal imaging.
• Monitor patients during scans and respond appropriately to any issues.
• Perform routine quality control checks and report equipment concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and functional MRI suite.
• Accurately document all procedures in the EMR system.
• Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies and procedures.
• If licensed, assist with X-ray imaging following safety and positioning protocols.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to support workflow.
