Job summary

Sport Ortho Urgent Care in Mt. Juliet, TN is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to join our fast-paced orthopedic team. You will perform MRI scans, screen patients, and ensure safety while collaborating with clinicians.

Ideal candidate has ARRT MRI, Tennessee X-Ray Operator license (preferred), imaging experience, and strong attention to detail. We offer competitive compensation and a supportive work environment in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT (MRI) Certification (Required).
• Tennessee Medical X-Ray Operator License (Preferred).
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal imaging and MRI safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician protocols and industry standards.
• Ensure patient safety by properly screening for contraindications and providing clear instructions.
• Position patients accurately and operate MRI equipment for optimal imaging.
• Monitor patients during scans and respond appropriately to any issues.
• Perform routine quality control checks and report equipment concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and functional MRI suite.
• Accurately document all procedures in the EMR system.
• Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies and procedures.
• If licensed, assist with X-ray imaging following safety and positioning protocols.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to support workflow.

Sport Ortho Urgent Care is currently seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to join our growing team.
