Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL seeks a dedicated MRI Technologist for night shift. You will operate the MRI scanner, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists to acquire quality images.

The position requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT registration, CPR certification, and graduation from an accredited MRI program. Weekend and on‑call availability may be required. A sign‑on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Basic understanding of RIS operations.
• Basic computer skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registered.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe MRI environment and operate MRI scanner.
• Positioning techniques and imaging per physician orders; ensure safety for implants.
• Communicate effectively with team and radiologists in daily workflows.
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards in all patient care.
• Maintain professional behavior and pursue ongoing learning and development.
• Verify patient identity, prepare patient, and assist with exams while ensuring safety.
