Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist for the High Point Medical Center in High Point, NC. This full-time, nights position requires ARRT MRI eligibility or ARMRIT, and offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus with $10,000 for new graduates.

You will perform MRI scans, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with Radiologists to provide accurate imaging results. Responsibilities include preparing patients, verifying orders, maintaining equipment, and adhering to radiation safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and refer to Radiologist when needed.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; identify patients.
• Review medical history and EMR to obtain pertinent clinical information.
• Perform MRI scanning and assist physicians clinically during procedures.
• Maintain MRI safety and infection control standards.
