Job summary

Atrium Health's High Point Medical Center is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for full-time night shifts at the High Point, NC campus. The role involves performing MRI procedures, preparing patients, and coordinating with Radiology to ensure high-quality imaging and safety.

Requirements include ARRT MRI registry eligibility within 1 year and BLS certification. Eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Eligible for Day 1 health coverage and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI registry eligibility within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and refer to Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and document on appropriate worksheets.
• Administer IV contrast per departmental protocols and record details.
• Operate MRI scanner and assist during invasive procedures as needed.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment issues to supervision.
• Maintain clean work area and assist anesthesia when performing exams.
