Hours: 11:30 am - 10:00 pm weekdays, 7:30 am - 6:00 pm weekends

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the MRI Section Leader, the MRI Technologist performs a variety of MRI imaging procedures and is responsible for patient care and safety in the MRI environment. Interacts with Radiologists and patients to ensure successful MRI imaging. Participates in QA activities.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Education: Associate's Degree in an Allied Health Field. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
2. Experience: Two years as a medical imaging technologist preferred.
3. Licensure and/or Certification: Current registration as an imaging technologist required. Must obtain MRI registration through ARRT within one year of hire. BLS healthcare provider certification required.
4. Skills: Proficient IV skills, strong MR safety knowledge, excellent communication and customer service skills, computer proficiency including PACS and HIS/RIS, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
