MRI Technologist – (MRI Tech)

Start Date: ASAP | Available Shifts: 8 Hour Evening | Pay Rate: $2,342.24 – $2,566.49

The MRI technologist demonstrates an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, contrast agents, MRI safety, and medical terminology. Maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and technique. Performs MRI procedures according to established protocols to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician. Prepares and administers contrast at the direction of the radiologist in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma (Required). Completion of formal Radiologic Technologist training at an AMA-approved school.
• Experience: At least 1 year MRI experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certificates: ARRT Radiology registry (required). Magnetic Resonance ARRT Radiology Registry (recommended). BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association (required).

Additional Qualifications

• 1 year MRI experience preferred.
