Job summary

Med Career Solutions in Panama City, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures and ensure high-quality imaging. The technologist will regulate MRI equipment and account for image accuracy, with images processed and organized in PACS.

Requirements include an Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology, ARRT (R) and MR, Florida license, BCLS, and a minimum 1 year MRI experience (3 years preferred).

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) & (MR) Required.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts (head, neck, body, MSK, spine).
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience required; 3 years preferred.

Job description

Position: MRI Tech

Location: Panama City, FL

Shifts/Schedule: Full-Time | Weekends: (Friday 10am-10:30pm, Saturday 9am-9:30 pm & Sunday 9am-9:30 pm)

• On-Call: As needed
• Call Back: 2hr. min; time and a half

What You'll Do:

The MRI Technologist performs technical procedures, applying magnetic resonance imaging and ionizing radiation (Radiographer) for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates equipment used to produce the magnetic image and expose the x-ray image as well as process and organize the image in PACS.

Qualifications Required:

• Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required
• ARRT (R) & (MR) Required
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts to include head, neck, body, MSK, spine and MRI imaging
• MUST have a minimum 1 year of MRI experience - Required; 3 years of MRI experience is highly preferred.
• FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay rate range: Min $32/hr. - Max $44/hr. (Based on years of experience)
• Shift Diffs: $5/hr. Nights; $5/hr. Weekends
• Sign on Bonus: case by case
• Relocation: case by case
