Join Our Team as an MRI Technologist at Inova Health

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team. This is a full-time day shift position, Tuesday through Thursday, from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available.

Job Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with patients to gather clinical history and explain procedures to reduce anxiety
• Assist physicians with examinations following standard protocols and precautions
• Use knowledge of IVs, heparin locks, and central lines in MRI procedures
• Ensure patient safety through proper use of safety equipment and monitoring
• Perform routine maintenance of imaging equipment to ensure quality images

Additional Requirements

• Work Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday, 6:30 am – 7 pm
• Education: Graduate of an accredited radiography or nuclear medicine program with MRI training, ARRT eligible
• Licensing: ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registration; CNMT certification acceptable; MRI certification within 12 months of hire
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association
• Experience: Preferred in hospital/healthcare radiologic or MRI tech roles or recent Inova student graduates
