Hawaii Pacific Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic angiography procedures and support imaging services at our hospital in Hawai‘i. The role requires ARRT MR or Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license and current BLS CPR.

Qualifications

Job description

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.

Our MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) department handles the complex process of creating two-dimensional images of soft tissues and cells in the body. The MRI team is composed of technical and medical professionals who ensure that this powerful diagnostic tool and state-of-the-art machinery is employed in a way that helps patients feel relaxed and cared for.

As the MRI Technologist, your skill and careful attention will help to ensure that the Imaging Services at Kapi‘olani provide quality diagnostic services and care for our patients and their families. In this role, you will be performing diagnostic radiographic angiography procedures on patients. We are looking for someone with sensitive patient care skills, an appreciation for technical procedure and protocol and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Pay Range: 59.62 - 62.76 USD per hour

Minimum Qualifications: Registered MRI Technologist (RT)(MR) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) OR Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.

Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year MRI technologist or related experience.
