Job summary

NORTH STAR DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING, LLC in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Full-Time MRI Technologist for a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule. The role offers no weekend or on-call shifts with opportunities to cross-train into CT or mammography and to join a remote MRI scanning program based on performance and departmental needs.

The ideal candidate holds Texas MRT certification, ARRT MR and/or ARMRIT, and CPR (preferred), with strong MRI protocol knowledge and patient-care focus.

Qualifications

• Active Texas MRT certification.
• ARRT (MR) and/or ARMRIT certification.
• Current CPR certification (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of MRI anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic MRI examinations following established protocols.
• Verify patient identity, review physician orders, and gather clinical history.
• Prepare and position patients, prioritizing comfort and safety during the scan.
• Educate patients on their procedure and address questions to deliver an exceptional experience.
• Administer contrast media when indicated and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation within RIS/PACS and EMR systems.
• Conduct daily quality control checks to keep MRI equipment safe and efficient.
• Adhere to MRI safety, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and team for seamless care.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain competency.
• Support departmental workflow and take on additional duties.
